When I was younger reading to me was awesome. I loved to do nothing more than read. I remember being so excited to get to go to the library with my grandma. I knew I'd be able to check out new books each time. Funny thing is that in a few days my checked out stack of books was read and I was ready to go back and get more! Thats how much I loved reading. Every night before bed I'd grab my books and jump into bed to read. If ONLY that were still an easy task for me.
These days I think about how I'd love to be able to do that. I have my hands full now. I have a growing daughter who takes up the majority of my time. That and a part time job along with a full load at school. Sometimes I wonder how people do it. I hate leaving my daughter, but know in order to give her a good life I must do what I have to.
Usually for me to get ANY reading done I have to do it when the baby is sleeping so that I can read in peace and FULLY understand what I'm redaing. Either that or nap time during the day IF I'm not working. Yes life is crazy but I think that night time is best for me. I think the reading part of this class is the easy part of this course since I have no internet at home. I have to juggle my craziness around to do the online work. Hopefully as my daughter grows more and becomes more independant and not so dependant on me I can get back into reading because I really miss that in my life.
