I think Sonny will use all the money he has gathered up to take Nica somewhere on a date. He seems very interested in her. Maybe he will take her to pizza if he can get her away from her house. Or possibly order it to the house since she most likely will not be able to leave. I think this because he is always talking about getting pizza with her.
If I were Sonny I would have probably used the money to run away. Either that or save up enough to give to Silvia so that they could leave. Neither of them seem to be very fond of living there anyway. Not to mention that Silvia feels trapped now and like a maid pretty much. At least if they didn't live with the Cloyd she would feel free again and could get a job like before. Poor Sonny is in a never winning situation. It seems that before Silvia was with Cloyd she was always gone and she still is. The only difference NOW is that he has to deal with Cloyd and his drunkeness. He seems to take out his anger on poor Sonny.
I think having a step dad like Cloyd would be miserable and I'd probably rebel if I were in that situation. I would first of all probably be mad at my mom for being with someone like that. I would hope that my mom would choose someone who would be good for her AS WELL as her kids. I would also be mad at Cloyd when he got drunk and talked to me like that. I probably wouldn't do a thing he asked me to do either.

Giving the money to Silvia definitely sounds like something Sonny would do. But I'm beginning to wonder if she would take it. Sure they would be out from his clutches, but I think that would put them in more trouble as well.
I guess we'll just have to see how Sonny uses his money. I hope he does spend it on Nica, perhaps even run away.
